We set-up Perrygate with a transparent fee structure which works for everyone. This means you are not paying for referral commission to third parties. Simply put, your fee is paying for our service.
Our Buying Service charges an up-front retainer fee of £1,500 deductible from the success fee upon exchange of contracts. We only work for clients on an exclusive basis.
We understand many of our clients are looking for a long-term home or dream property and this can take time. This is why our initial fee retains our services for 6 months – considerably longer than many buying agents. This also gives our clients the confidence that if a solicitor or a surveyor finds an issue with a property, we are happy to continue the search at no extra cost.
Of course, our competitive fees are not the main way we can save you money. We always aim to secure a significant reduction on a property’s asking price. London’s is one of the world’s most expensive property markets where every percent saved is a considerable amount of money. The amount negotiated from the asking price is usually many multiples our fee. Unlike other buying agents, we also charge no commission on the amount we negotiate off a purchase price.
Whilst you should check with a financial advisor, HMRC guidance indicates our fee can be off-set against Capital Gains Tax.
